Tanya, I'm presuming this is your basement. What do you want to do in the room. I see a TV so I presume that's part of it. Do you also play games or do puzzles or want an area for snacks? Do you plan to buy any new furniture?

Yes, it is partially basement(split level). I am not good with adding details to the space. I would be getting new furniture if needed, but can’t replace it all at once. It is our TV room at the most.

The first thing I notice is how far the sofa under the window is under the TV area. I would pull that forward in an L shape with the other sofa. The chair in the corner could be moved back under the window with the other chair. Move them both closer together under the window with a small table between them. Then you could use that area for having a snack or playing a game or doing a puzzle.
