Yes please - more info & more pics of space. You’re making us work too hard to guess. My guess is that there’s a stairway next to wall. I’m guessing that because of the light switch placement & what’s maybe a gallery wall on right side - the pictures can’t be hung as low as appears. Are you open to replacing that one small light fixture with a larger & brighter one? Maybe a hanging light?
