Trim color in bathroom

Hello. I’m repainting our small second floor bathroom and wanted to try the color drenching technique. One coat on the trim, and I’m not so sure it’s the best choice. Going from BM Healing Aloe LRV of 69 to BM Paris Rain LRV of 53. Alternatively, the trim paint would be BM Swiss Coffee, like the rest of the house.
So that’s my first dilemma. Secondly, there are built in drawers in the wall next to the toilet. Previously I had these painted the same as wall color. Advice and insights are much appreciated!

IMO if you want to color drench then it all gets the same color that is the point .

Thanks. Yes, I get that. My main question was whether I should color drench or not in this room.

I think since it is a smaller room and there is chunky trim around the window and floor that color drenching would help open up the space so they eye doesn't go right to the trim

    what is the flooring?

With the wood vanity and the countertop - I'd be tempted to color drench with a mellow cream/warm white and call it a day - I like BM Navajo white - you could also try Swiss Coffee

if you are drenching, then drench. Everything the same color inside the room.

Walls, ceiling and trims all the same color. Let's see the floor.

I personally have a similar set up with the built ins... I would paint the whole room the Healing Aloe.

Ceiling flat, walls, egg shell, and trim satin finish.

a spa like feel, let the decor be the accent.

Thanks Lynn and LaLa. Here’s a pic of the floor. It is large format textured tile, sort of a linen color. I have just freshly painted the walls with 2 coats of BM Paris Rain. (Painted over the old healing aloe). I’d really rather
    not repaint another new color.

Yes, color drench the whole thing instead of painting the trim a different color.

Your color is light and fresh and looks nice in your small space. Your build in drawers are such a fantastic feature. Hats off to whomever built them.

Thanks Kendrah! My husband built those out of necessity- it’s such a small room. The drawers are soooo convenient!

for sure if you are liking the color then I think keep going and paint the trim as well

That Paris Rain is very nice. Play up the mix of warm and cool tones in the room with art and accessories.
