Can you move the entrance door back to be flush with the hall as other doors are shown?

All the same nd wood probably but I do not know where you are sothe exact flooring is a guess.

Some thinking points for a decision (yes, this many things go through a designer's head!):

• You are entering your unit from a building corridor/elevator/lobby/etc. Do you need the ruggedness of tile as opposed to having all wood with a rug?
• The area is so small, when you enter you have to step onto the wood in order to close the door anyway. Though visually the tile transition is shown at a natural position, functionally it wouldn't be performing it's full intended function.
• The Master access is important enough in this Foyer to warrant the floor being the same wood as the Master and Living/Kitchen.
• The existing drawings (last thread) had indicated a tray ceiling in the Foyer. If that remains, there would be a disconnect between a tray ceiling defining the entire Foyer area and flooring having a transition that doesn't relate to any transition in the ceiling.

Also note the Foyer closet door swing is awkward, it should hinge on the other side. Unless the purpose is to stand in the building corridor with the front door open to put a coat away.
