@OutsidePlaying the hard part is getting up/ down the step ladder with the glass and getting it washed and then put back all with a fearful feeling that one wrong move and disaster ensues as there are no replacements . That’s why I am so glad I had DH to help this time.

DH carries each of the glass pieces to the kitchen and washes it in a plastic dishpan. He dries and carries back wrapped in a towel. I’m on the step ladder and place each piece back and wipe the bulbs and fixture. Repeat 5+5+ 11 ! The music room fixture can’t be taken apart that glass piece weighs a ton! I had to hold it over my head for the electrition when it was first hung 7 yrs ago. I get higher on the ladder and reach over tge side and down and clean the glass and 3 bulbs that way. Glad it’s done !!!

Thank you everyone , I got the 3 vintage pieces after days and days of searching on Etsy . I had long conversations with each seller. The packaging was incredible! c

I had one candelabra bulb burn out on my 12-light dining room chandelier. When I replaced it I noticed the new bulb was clean/clear and all the old bulbs looked dusty. I shrugged and moved on! I had people coming and wasn't going to "polish" every bulb. A project for another day/month/year. I got comments on my art, but none on my dusty bulbs!

@chispa the DR fixture with the huge glass shades had a bulb out. When I took it out the markings said Hungary! Not available anywhere. I finally found a Sylvania bulb thats the right size and shape to match. I got a pack of 4 - incandescent $23! I hope no more than 3 ever burn out lol.
