    This is a gas fireplace unit and therefore it has a fixed glass front (does not open and is not open). Hope this is helpful

    Yes Minimal grout lines are necessary to secure tile/finish of tile. Ask your tile retailer for items which allow (specify) minimum grout lines. Also, check out Mapei grout line in natural tones at www.mapei.com. They offer an extensive range of nature tones to match quarried tiles.
