I need an easy to use mop for my kitchen floor

last month

I woluld appreciate advise on a mop for my linoleum kitchen floor. Home Depot and Ace Hardware only have Libman brand in their stores. I have a hard time with the handle and removing or replacing the sponge. There have to be better ones out there that are easy to use! Gone are the days I can get down on my knees. Thank you! Ginny

I am going to follow this. Libman seems to be the only mops in any of our local stores and I am not a fan either. I need one for our porch!

I've always been a big fan of Vileda's Bee Mop for a real sponge mop - for small things, I use Vileda's microfibre flat mop.

I like the Libman Wonder Mop especially for slate floor but it works fine on wood also. I don’t use a bucket but simply the sink.

I love the O-Cedar system with a washable scrubbing pad and a bucket that scrapes the icky water off in one pass, and then sprays the pad with your cleaning solution in other. Separate reservoirs keep them from mixing. Then, remove the velcro attached pad and toss it in the wash.

I use a O-Cedar Spin Mop. Works great and you can wash the heads.

If you only have a kitchen floor to mop, this might work for you. I needed something really easy for both myself and my housekeepers (who come every 2 weeks). All they mop is ceramic tile in the our bathroom and a small-ish utility room. You can buy extra/replacement microfiber pads. I have not done so yet because I wanted to see if we all liked the mop first. You can’t get anything much easier to put on, plus it flips over if one side starts to get dirty. Or just take it off, rinse it and put it back on, then throw it in the washer and air dry when done. I fill it the removable container with water and a little concentrated cleaning solution.

I bought mine at Home Depot.

I use a swiffer with the wet cloths for a quick once over. I use my steam mop to clean all floors. I use distilled water in it with a splash of vinegar. I can't stand the smell of most cleaners, they are killer on my sinuses.

I have that O'Cedar Pro-Mist Max (shown above) -- or something extremely like it. I love it because it's "always ready" for small spills, but it's more of a little-spill thing /not a full-fledged time-to-mop-the-floor gadget. If you get one, definitely pick up a second mop head so you can always have a clean one -- it just goes into the washer with towels. I MUCH prefer this over disposables.

My sister-in-law loves her O'Cedar Spin Mop more than it's reasonable to love a mop.

I decided on a "Quickie" mop that I remember from years ago. I haven't used it yet but it looks like the style that I used for 20+ years. Thank you all for your feedback. Ginny
