Tom, where are you located? WIll you need to insulate/heat during the winter?

I have moved from SE Texas, where I could grow in-ground citrus, to more central East Texas where it gets too cold pretty much every winter to grow any but the most cold-hardy varieties of citrus.

That's a super nice greenhouse. Am I seeing a double wall?

I have wondered if one could take advantage of ground heat and build a greenhouse, a LOT smaller than yours, in-ground. I know some dig the walls down maybe 2-3 ft but I'm talking 5-8 ft. It would take a machine to dig and just the right location to handle drainage but maybe one could establish 1-2 in-ground citrus trees in an area that would otherwise kill citrus.

At the previous house I built an outdoor shower with a glass roof made from shower door panels. I believe they are 2" X 5' and are safety glass. The trusses were made from scrap aluminum channel that was once a carport. In a greenhouse concept, I think one would sink the walls fully in-ground so that the roof is at the original ground level to take the most advantage of the soil warmth....problem is that, at some depth, one would begin reducing exposure to AM and PM sunlight.

Here is the outdoor shower. It was 10' X 10'.
