My preference is porcelain with non-slip features and larger tiles with fewer grout lines. This is a small space so neutral would work well, but what colors are you drawn to? Color and pattern can be added with wall paper, paint, towels, etc.

Have you considered swapping the vanity and the toilet positions?

It looks like it could give you a few more inches in the width of the future shower. Sometimes it is better to wait to get a better layout, than to rush just to get new pretty finishes.
