You would match counter to wall tile or floor?

Suggest a light wood vanity if aiming for a spa like feel. You may not have a choice regarding the counter.

You will likely have a harder time trying to match your counters to your wall tile. I would go for something neutral and let the veining in the counter pick up on the colors of the floor.

Where is the ribbed tile going? Shower walls? Not loving that color, and if ribbed, do you enjoy cleaning? A lot? : )

Truly do not want to burst your excitement bubble, but think you might have a hard time with counter top and wall color, and not sure you will love the busy of it with the shower floor , if that

s indeed where its going? JMO

You've got the floor, so you need to work with that.

I would choose something very light, the floor is very dark, so a definite contrast.

Love the color of the ribbed tile and the other tile, but not with your floor choice.

Matte Black doesn't say Spa... How about polished chrome for all your fixtures. The dark gray floor needs light... White countertop, no veining, the floor is busy enough.

Not on board with the wall tile...just too much of a good thing. How about using the floor tile in the shower? Seamless, spa like, IMO.

For the walls, a peel and stick wallpaper...I see a lot of green undertones in the tile.

did you show the contractor the vanity prior to plumbing? in other words, was he aware of what you wanted. if yes, then he needs to have the plumber remedy the plumbing to fix what you wanted.

It comes in a white, gry, wood tone and black

Yes, and a very green toned yellow. I'd think long and hard on shower walls. : ) or a bit "sallow"?

we're seeing the same thing, maybe put all that in better/different cooler lighting ?

The black sample tile is the floor. That is my vanity with black matte hardware

Also thanks to your input I did keep ribbed tile on shower but made the niche plain white quartz.
