LOL, Char, I am using KKB’s Perfect Circles templates! You do a running stitch around in the seam allowance then pull up the thread around the template and starch the heck out of the edges. They come out very nice!

Do you do these while watching tv? or do you spend a part of the day working on these? How many do you do before you flag? I might get one or two done before putting them in time out.

Theresa, I generally sew in the mornings. The window in my sewing room looks out to our street so I watch neighbors and birds and such while I sew. I’m about halfway through the second quarter and I can tell I’ll need a break after this.

I just finished the second quarter! This one took about a month, too. Now I need a break from it. 😄

Taking a break from hand applique. Here are the first three pineapple blocks. There are 12 total and 12 half blocks. The full blocks finish at 12”.

Ooh, I like those blocks. They look like they’re spinning.

I just finished the third quarter of the center. When they are done and sewn together there will br a large flower in the center.
