I like the matchstick blinds in your idea book. You can add solar film to reduce the amount of light if the glare is too much.

Also what is your goal for the window coverings--light control, privacy, decorative only? How much glass is there? Which way do the windows face--north, south, east, west?

IMO first solar shades to control UV , heat and allow you to keep the view. Of course we only guess with no pictures and no info.

There are many factors to be considered; the windows style/size, configuration, room’s decor, budget, and ease of use/motorized, light control, privacy needs, etc.
