kitchen layout feedback requested

This plan requires moving my kitchen from center of space (where round table is) to take over a living room area. It enables 48” luxe fridge and 48” range and 4ft galley from sink to island vs current 3 ft. It opens up space and flow of the home. Seeking feedback on:

Because I’m used to my kitchen being more “centered” this feels like the kitchen is “shoved in a corner” - not sure if I’m just used to current layout
Any experience with a breakfast table very close to a more formal dining room space? I’m having trouble imagining it.
Is refrigerator placement weird - ie behind island? Peoples backs to it? Too far from other things like sink?
Anything else?

Where is the dining room?

Did you move the laundry as part of this remodel? How does the dryer vent to the outside? (it cannot vent into the garage).

There is not room for stools in front of the fridge - nor is there room for 4 stools (the two people at the corner would have their knees in the same space). I honestly don't see the need for stools at the island at all, since your breakfast table is 3 steps away.

I'm not a fan of entering a house through the laundry. I feel like swapping laundry room and powder room solves the venting problem.

You must live in a warm climate, because you don't have an entry from the garage designed for coats, boots, mittens and hats.
