pretty paper! i’d do a lined bamboo shade for some texture (i just bought privacy bamboo blinds on amazon that are great)

@La_la girl I love bamboo roman shade. But I don’t care for them down all the time. This line would have to be down all the time. What I like about the silhouette shade is you can open it and still have privacy. The way the powder room is positioned, it allows light in without anyone seeing in.

I don’t see highlighting the headrail in any way. It blends into the background which is good. My eye is drawn first to the pretty wallpaper.

The issue is the headrail is metal. It looks cold and utilitarian. I feel it distracts from the softness of the sheer fabric shade and the wallpaper.

I’d be tempted to paint match the background of the paper and paint it out in a matte paint

You could try to carefully match a strip of the wallpaper and apply it to the metal valance.
