Yard looks fabulous with the hydrangeas...I'm saying a big "no" to any colorful rug...too cabana looking for your yard, house and plantings. We put a forever lawn around our pool. Maybe a strip of it over the concrete?

Thank you! I should clarify that the AI render isn't our house and yard, but it captured the furniture and umbrella layout pretty well, so I used it. Landscaping design is for next year. The sellers were older and simply had every bed filled with dead shrubs and fist-size white rocks.

I would not want a rug near pool

I don't think the yellow and white rug is too much yellow. I like it. The umbrellas are such a strong statement, the yellow rug balances and grounds them. The pattern is perfect and it's the same shade of yellow.

I would avoid bright tables though.

Do not get a plush rug, get the thin type that let water run right through. A synthetic flatweave with no backing.

Why a rug? Is there some reason? I have very similar, but just two chaises, umbrella and table but no rugs near our pool.

A rug will need to be custom if your loungers are lined up per your picture, but I’d skip. Tripping hazard, fade quickly, stain with spillage, and when rained on, potentially slow to dry. Just complement the umbrellas on the loungers (which will be appreciated) and suggest tables that work with the loungers. I’d be aiming to create an inviting, relaxing area and it can still be interesting.
