Getting closer every day

Scapes are up all over the garden and some buds are coloring up. Our second hybrid opened today. It's not really photo-worthy, but I had to take a photo since it is so early. It is Heavenly Knight Rider.

Begin with a Bang continues to bloom. I am beginning to like it.

The iris are almost done now. Bob decided this this one is his new favorite. It is Orange Splash.

The martagon lilies are blooming. This is Claude Shride.

I believe this one is Guinea Gold.

This one is Arabian Knight.

I've never seen an orange iris before. Bob would like that one. LOL Lots of scapes are up here too. It won't be long before my first bloom.

Always great to see the first blooms. Once they begin, things start to explode quickly!!I I like the orange iris as well. I have two orange ones, neither named but both are ruffly beauties. The orange color adds a different look to the iris beds. I always enjoy your martagon lilies.

Nice to see your getting daylily blooms. I love the martagon lilies. Orange iris pops in the garden.

I am also a fan of the martagons. I have a few. I have scapes on Before, it should bloom next week.

Heavenly Knight Rider. is very pretty! Martagons have such a unique bloom and are very interesting! I've seen them at people's homes in the past but never knew what they were.
