All the trim, gutters, etc., I would do white. I would use the opportunity to remove and not replace the shutters. They do not suit the window type, not sized correctly and in my opinion, just look odd. Is that red on the porch brick?

If I were choosing between the stone veneer and the brick, I'd keep the brick and ditch the stone veneer. Possibly replace it with some brick veneer. The stone veneer stops short of the ground and appears to stop at the shutters. That means you're stuck with shutters. The brick is an original feature of the house.

If you are going to keep the stone veneer, I'd pick a gray that matches one of the stones. And, I'd paint the cement foundation the same or a darker version. Although, in other circumstances, I'd advise you to ditch the shutters, I suspect you have no stone behind the shutters on the lower level, so they might look funny without the shutters on the top windows.

Thank you Sigrid. You are right, on the lower level there is no stone behind the shutters. I like your idea about painting the cement foundation. What would you think if I paint the red bricks the same color as the siding?
