Bath mat for zero entry shower

I bought an ultra thin bath mat but it still gets stuck on my zero entry shower door. (This is the old bath mat). The shower door opens outward. Do I need to change the direction of the shower door? I don’t feel like ’stretching’ each time I get out of the shower. Besides, my mother in-law will be visiting for a month. This isn’t safe. Any suggestions?

I just put it outside and get used to swining the door IN to enter and exit the shower. I pick up the mat after use.

The sweep is to low to the ground, that it won't go over anything.

We have 3 zero entry showers and all the doors have hinges that allow the doors to swing in and out, so no issues with bathmats.

In the 2 smaller showers you do have to watch out that you don't swing the doors in too fast/aggressively, or you might hit the wall mounted shower head. We give guests a heads up and show them how far to go.

@chispa That was another thought. Right niw the door only swings outward

The other good thing about being able to swing the door inwards is that the water splashed on the shower door, while showering, is able to drip-dry inside the shower and not on the floor outside the shower.

Definitely get hinges that open both ways.
