I love the grain & color of the wood. Which wood species is it? How did you achieve the 2-tone look in the built-in bookcases?

I’m so glad you like it! These cabinets are built in furniture-grade rift cut white oak. We use a natural protective finish only so the shade variations are part of the wood. And please keep in mind that the colors in photo itself may appear slightly different on your computer. Hope this helps! Jennifer

It does, thanks. We had a sawmill & I thought it looked like white oak, just wanted to be sure.
