Mardi Gras Indian is one of the brightest in the garden.

Penguin Tuxedo has been slow to get established but the flower in pretty.

Peppermint Curls is nothing fance but I like it.

Please disregard the dead flower in the corner of this picture of Piece of the Action.

Playing with Sharks

Return of the Jedi wowed us this morning.

Shreddy is a very large flower.

Sweet Isabella did not do well last year but she is looking good now.

You Had Me at Merlot was new last season but didn't bloom.

Some seedlings to come . . .

I meant to post this garden shot earlier. This is half of our front yard. Yes, that is back at the back of the photo. He is putting pollen on Tet. Spindazzle.

This seedling will be lined out after it is finished blooming. It is Hello Screamer X Cherry Pie a la Mode.

I could kick myself for not taking out the spent bloom in the upper left hand corner. We are not sure of the parentage of this one.

This is Raspberry Sickle X Empire of Dawn and Dusk.

Wow Nancy! There are so many noteworthy ones in this list! I really like Penguin Tuxedo, Heidi Hugs, Lonesome Jaguar, Heavenly Mirage and Jeepers Creepers. The one with unknown parentage is really bright. I love the garden shot-daylilies everywhere!!!

Sweet Isabella is having a good year here too. What is plant habit of Piece of the Action? Parent Vitamin C has suddenly dwindled here. Good to see your reaction to Heav. M. Lonesome J has been smallish so far.

Jeepers Creepers is showing a neat pattern that I love! Lonesome Jaguar is looking good! My Jaguar is huge this year and showing some lateral branching that I haven't seen for a few years. Return of the Jedi is a striking toothy cultivar. My favorite seedling is the second one with unknown parentage. It has good color contrast and a nice, round shape.

So many pretty one, Nancy. Penguin Tuxedo, Playing With Sharks, Return of the Jedi....Yes, I know they are similar colors, but I like them. I like Totally Toothy and Lonesome Jaguar isw gorgeous. I would like to walk in that garden and look closely at the plants. And the seedling with unknown parentage is a jewel. Mardi Gras Indian and Heavenly Mirage are so my kind of bloom.

Mantis, Piece of the Action has a strange plant habit here. It's a good grower, but it grows in a straight line. It grew from one side of the bed to the other instead of in a clump. I can't comment on bud count because we don't pay attention to that but it has been hardy here.
