My second?…..week of blooms

I have some more first blooms from this week. Still having a few refusing to open fully.

Coyote Moon started a few days ago. Not as many scapes or buds this season. I forgot it is an evergreen……I am wondering if it is in decline.

Easter Egg is refused to open yesterday. I hope I see some better blooms.

Undercurrent started this week. It is an evergreen and has been here a long time. Keeping my fingers crossed it continues to flourish.

When My Sweetheart Returns is loaded with scapes and buds. I am hoping for alot of clumps.

The sevond bloom on Rosies Cotton Ribbon. The first didnt open well.

Simplcity in Motion had a poly first bloom. This is one of my favorites here.

Those evergreens that have flourished in the past will likely continue to do so. For some, this is just an off year. It's just a strange year, with different plants reacting differently to the seasonal extremes we've had. Simplicity in Motion has an interesting form here, but never is as big as others' pictures suggest.

Mantis, I hope you are right. Coyote Moon has been such a good performer here. I have lost a few evergreens the last few years……they just declined to the point there was no reason to keep them.

Sherry, Undercurrent is so pretty. You know I like Simplicity in Motion. Sounds like you will have some nice clumps on When My Sweetheart Returns.

I hope your Coyote Moon bounces back in future seasons. It's normally such a good one for you. Simplicity in Motion and Rosie Cotton's Ribbons are so pretty!

Undercurrent looks amazing!! I am glad Fiordiligi is doing well. Metaphor is one of my favorites, and it is doing extra well this year for me.
