I love that Red Venom clump!! What great color. I wager that DTS glows in person. The Judy’s Jewel and S. Samantha seedlings are so pretty. All these clump shots are really nice.

The Red Venom seedling looks great today. DTS X green Mystique is really glowing. Too bad it is so hard to capture the true color.

We are also suffering in the heat and humidity, dont spend much time outside. The heat index here today 109f. Yikes!

Again I'm seeing a bright white on Dawn to Dusk, which certainly makes it stand out better. Your pink seedlings get my attention as usual, and your Green Mystique seedling does have a green sheen to it. I surprised myself by liking green daylilies so much...........Maryl

Gorgeous clumps! Like Kate, I adore the Red Venom clump but I also like the Judy's Jewel X Bubblegum Queen #1 clump and the DTS X Green Mystique' clump. Sea World is a beautiful color. Nice post, Debra.

Maryl - I love how Empire of Dawn and Dusk took off in just one year. It's been a favorite for me this season.

Sherry - I'm surprised your heat index is a bit higher than ours. Today wasn't quite as muggy as yesterday.

Nice grouping and I always love your seedlings.Great crosses. LOTW is doing okay and growing after her long journey. I moved my Neon Flamingo last fall to a new spot and I have noticed mine is a bit shorter in height than in previous years. It may be one that needs to recover from a replanting. Just a thought.

Julia - Thanks for the seedling love! I'm happy to read LOTW is recovering after her trip around the state! Neon Flamingo may be one that needs more time to settle in after being divided. It was one that sometimes had about half the scapes short in Nashville. It was rarely the registered 35 inches there.

Quite a few to like in this posting. SEA WORLD is my color plant. I will have to see how it compares to ALONE AGAIN and LAVENDER BLUE PLANET. SUMMER KATE is my type of bloom. Very pretty. I will have to look that one up. DTS X Green Mystique looks like a real attention getter in the garden. $exy Samantha X Bubblegum Delicious 4 looks really good. Does it hang up with all of those ruffles?

The pink seedlings are all nice, and this was a good year for them to settle in. Of course, the Red Venom seedling also looks good, but I suspect that this year's performance may not be typical. There are a lot of things that have shot up; I don't expect that height to recur. The last pic is especially nice, with just enough sun to highlight the flowers. Scapes in that clump could benefit from a few more inches.

Brad - Red Venom X Dancing Flamingo had short scapes for several years in Nashville, so I'm thrilled that they are up to 27-28 inches here. With such a huge bloom, the seedling looked silly with scapes just 22-23 inches.
