I added Mister Mayor to the collection last summer. Mine should be blooming in about a week. Summer Snowball looks like a very good plant. With all of those buds, it looks like it will provide color for a long time. I am finding that the yellows really add something to the garden. Victorian Garden Emerald Breeze is a real looker. Thanks for posting all of these wonderful images.

Gotta enjoy Mister Mayor-my last bloom was this week. Interesting thought I had on Cobraskin Necktie-I have it but rarely photograph it. I don’t know why-just so many others. Your Summer Snowball is so much darker than mine-so pretty. Wonderful clump of Color of Wonderful! (See how I did that?) Pink Lemonade Party is a color of pink I really like. And you are correct-too hot to even walk outside!

I really like Mister Mayor. It is a favorite for me too. Summer Snowball is such a pretty one. Cocoas Curiosity did well here this year. It is a pretty one. And a colonoscopy tends to drain us for a couple days and these very hot days don't help'

Mister Mayor is very vigorous. Summer Snowball is supposed to be very late. Is it different this year, or is the bloom time inaccurate? I see that you too are dealing with sun pics.

David - Glad to know you have plenty of The Tribble With Blue. I'll message you later in the summer about it.

Mantis - Although Summer Snowball is registered as a late, it has never bloomed late for me. It's always been more of ML, both here and in Nashville. It is blooming about a week later than last year. My rows are in full sun as are the lilies planted around my deck and foundation. So unless it's overcast, I always have to photograph in the bright sun.

Kay - Glad to know Coco's Curiosity did well for you this year. Part of my clump is doing well, but most of it is not.

Kate - Thanks for your comments. I look forward to the day my Mister Mayor has as many buds as yours. My Summer Snowball is likely darker than yours because until this week it's been cool and we've had so much rain.

Beautiful grouping as always. I keep saying relief is on the way. I clean the garden up in the evening and the deep purple blooms look almost black from the heat.

Julia - It's usually too hot for me to do anythng in the garden until 8:30 or 9 p.m.. I look forward to cooler temps next week.
