No but my son LOVES his cooliing mattress. It's not cheap but he'll never not have it.

When we built our house we put our master bedroom on a whole separate zone, so it can be cooled independently from the rest of the house. At night it is the only room being cooled.

It works great for DH who always runs hot ... but I freeze and have to wear long PJs and socks to bed! I definitely don't need cooling sheets!

I have not tried those. What are they made of? I'm very picky about my sheets. Right now I am using Cariloha retreat sheets. They are bamboo. Never thought I'd use anything other than cotton but I really like these. Very soft.

Ive wondered about those as well. glad you posted, salonva . I was remindrd of a discussion years ago re linen sheets . A certain company was praised, but I was never convinced. Chispa,that was smart planning. I love sleeping in a cold room under a cozy down comforter. Yum.

A few years ago I bought linen sheets. I think from Target, so not highest quality but I wanted to try them. They were so awful. So bad that I got up in the middle of the night and changed my pillowcase back to cotton because I couldn't sleep. Ripped them off the bed the next morning and threw them away. I'm sure higher quality would be better but I don't see me trying them again after that experience.

@chispa that was genius. We have 2 zone but it's the entire upstairs.

I keep my bedroom very cold both winter and summer. I sleep best under a big comforter and I'm not willing to give that up.

I haven't tried those from Costco but I have tried others. To me they lack body and feel slithery. I am sticking with cotton or high cotton content sheets.

They are 25% Cotton, and 75% "Tencel" - (polyester).

I wouldn't say they are quite slithery but something milder along those lines . I do find them somewhat cooler but a miracle product- no.

DH is always warm and I am always cold so my normal thing at home is to always have a sweatshirt and or blanket to sit with---.. He walks around without a shirt. Our bedroom though, is just warm. So I think the sheets help and I will probably keep them but I could be inspired to return them just the same.

I have been using Sheex for years. Ever since menopause really. I wonder if the Costco version is similar. When we switched back to the Tempurpedic mattress we had to start using chili pads because the foam sleeps so hot. DH sweats from the memory foam as well so it is not just menopause causing the problem. Good luck finding a mattress without a foam topper.

I cannot abide slithery sheets or the feel of tencel anywhere. I actually prefer a lower thread count for crispness. Plain white 100% cotton percale that doesn't cling anywhere. And yes to a cold bedroom. Fortunately where I live we have hot summers but it cools off at night.

Tencel is not polyester. It's a type of rayon made from wood pulp, usually eucalyptus.
