Catching up again

I haven't posted for a couple of day. Our kids were here on the 4th so I didn't even get the chance to see the daylilies. We had a storm in the evening. A rainbow formed late in the evening, around 8 p.m. and then the sunset was beautiful after the clouds dissipated some.

The sunset was beautiful too.

Now for some flowers.

I can't decide if we need to keep New Covenant.

After the temperatures have moderated a bit and the rain we had (about an inch and a quarter), Sally Sullivan's Painting was huge.

Take a Ribbing is a late bloomer. It's a simple little flower, but I like it.

Some seedlings will be posted next.

These two seedlings are siblings--(Gus Townsend X Desire of Nations) X (Painted on Jeans X Purple Goliath). They belong to our daughter.

I couldn't resist posting this one again. It is Pineapple Bites X Extreme Tangerine. The color is a little muted because of the heat.

We do breed diploids. Here are two.

I like the color on New Covenant, so I hope you keep it. Both of your daughters purple seedlings look promising. The Pineapple Bites seedling looks great in a clump! I love the rainbow and sunset photos!

The seedlings are my favorites. Great color on your daughters seedlings. the Donny Darko X is so different, love the shape and color. I am finding the different looks more appealing lately, more contrast in the gardens.

Covenant is rather short here. Good to see the Pineapple Bites seedling again. Yes, lots of rain here, but muted colors post-extreme heat.

I have to say the rainbow and sunset photos are my favorites! Just beautiful-especially with all the daylilies in the foreground.

I love all the colors in Hares in Paradise. Great clump of the Pineapple Bites seedling and your daughter’s seedlings are eyecatching as well.

Hares in Paradise is my favorite of the first ones. I like the second of your first two seedlings, and, of course, I really like Pineapple Bites X Extreme Tangerine. It reminds me of another great one, Bride of Dracula.
