More first blooms, looks like peak could be here up north

I removed six daylilies this week and have three more on the list. I am still waiting for some new additions to bloom. I have had several first blooms not nice enough to photograph.

Creamsicle Candy is well budded.

Kennesaw Mointain Lemon Sorbet is getting more sun after tree removal.

Magnificent Rainbow

When my Sweetheart Returns needs some shade.

Claudines Charm is poorly budded this season.

Sea Dragon started this week.

Fancy Buttons is doing well after a move.

Wide Wide World refused to bloom for two seasons after being moved. It must have heard it was on the performance list.

I like Sugar Magnolia for its color. I grew Claudines Charm in NYS and if I remember correctly it did have one off year. I so loved the deep color it would have in NYS but I think here in WV it would proably be much lighter. Lovely post.

Too early for a peak farther north than here! I like the shading of Fortress. Sea Dragon also stood out, as did Sugar M.

Creamsicle Candy is a nice color. I do like all the ruffles on Kennesaw Lemon Sorbet. Sugar Magnolia looks good.

Gee I almost didn't see this. So many calling to me. The form on the top two is right up my alley. Sugar Magnolia is a pink I think even looks good on a UF. It's one of those "if I had room" type of daylilies......Claudine's Charm is such a striking daylily in your garden, and I like the pink double Fancy Buttons too. Lots of nice ones here..............Maryl

Sugar Magnolia and Sea Dragon are my favorites, but I like the looks of Creamsicle Candy too! I always like your photos of When My Sweetheart Returns! Nine daylilies saying bye-bye - that's a lot!

Claudines Charm is very beautiful. I hope Sugar Magnolia does as well for you as it does for me. Lots of buds, long season, great for hybridizing.
