Brick ceiling

How can I put a brick facing on my kitchen ceiling. Everything is too heavy. What can I use? Is there any kind of faux product out there? Thanx for any help. Dan

Yes, there are 1/2" thick brick that are designed to use like tile. Research their use on a ceiling to find out what specific things you might need to do...like supporting the pieces while they dry. Don't skimp on the glue!

Each of our ThinClad brick faces weigh .65 lbs. You'll need to use backer board to apply them as with tile.

They also sell sheets of faux brick by the plywood and wainscoting. That might be easier than trying to tile a ceiling--especially because people won't get close enough to it to be able to tell its fake

You can paint the ceiling like brick or use a plaster to make the brick.

With texston terra you can do this. I being over head it will be extreme messy and I suggest doing each brick individually. This will make it look exactly like a brick ceiling.
