The standard recommendation is to get a box and lay all the pieces out in your space. See exactly what it looks like under your light and next to your other finishes. This is a glue down 3nn thick vinyl plank 4.5" x 48". I would not consider it a premium product.

Laminate is now waterproof. Look at that. Best would be wife 7-11" engineered hardwood planks.

Hey Dan! Thank you for the reply! I would not be using the glue down, I’d be using the rigid core which is 7mm. I have looked at a decent size sample in my space and fell in love with it, which is why I’m crossing my T’s and dotting my I’s. It’s a very expensive product, and comes highly recommended by a lot of the flooring guys around here. Also, the 4.5” is one of the reasons I love this product. I’m not a huge fan of the wider boards, so this fits the bill.

I’d love to find a more budget friendly version, but so far they pale in comparison to this one. Engineered hardwood is out of the question, as I have 2 kids and a rambunctious doodle. I’d like to steer clear of laminate as well. I’ve heard even the new ones are more of a water resistant than waterproof, despite being advertised as such.
