I only have to dig two more clumps and divide. The rest were lined out last year and will be easy to dig.

Here are the pictures of the operation. It pains me to cut scapes with buds still on them.

LAVENDER FLYTRAP: Nice plant. It is a back of the row daylily as it is tall.

VENUS FLYTRAP

IT'S THE RAGE wanted its picture taken.

WIDOW'S WALK: This has been loaded with buds

SUNSET MESA: Always has a good scape. FFO.

BROKEN CHAINS: FFE for this beautiful purple.

TIGRILLO AFTERNOON: FFO Another great Hanson intro.

EXLOSION IN THE PAINT FACTORY: The second bloom is why I don't like this plant. I keep it around for the novelty. I don't like the solid petal look that it sometimes throws.

HAREM HOUSE: usually much taller. It is only 24 inches.

My seedling out of Westbourne Crying for Theresa x Tactical Cat. I like the near-white petals and sepals with the lines in the eye and going toward the throat.

Evick seedling. I prefer this type of broken pattern. I prefer the subtleness of this pattern.

So what do you think of Diviner's Handbook? Blooms by nature seem not to be flat opening, but this is not necessarily bad. Broken Chains is very nice; seems late for it to be blooming.

I really like the Westbourne seedling! Tigrillo Afternoon is pretty with all those colors. It would hurt my heart to cut off all those buds and blooms!!!

Many years ago I went and helped with the Daylily Society in NYS to clean, wash and label the plants for their sale. I know how much time and effort goes into the process.

From this group I very much like Westbourne Crying for Theresa x Tactical Cat seedling. I did get from Hanson last fall Sunset Mesa. Nice blooms but not yet a good height nor a good amount of scapes. Hoping next season will be better.

I too hate to cut any flowers off. I've been working on dividing, but I wait until they are done before I do.

You have some really beauties here! I really like the 2 purple Westbourne seedlings that you posted on NGA even better than this white one, though it is nice too. Diviner's Handbook is a great color & design. I always enjoy seeing Jellyroll Morton. Broken Chains is a great purple, and
Tigrillo Afternoon is quite pretty as well.
