I think they look just fine. If they are in good condition, then keep them, and use your money on something that needs to be fixed.

Nope, they look completely normal. The wrought iron balusters are a little strange and look as though they only marginally meet code, if at all.

If you are going to chase every home decor fad that passes through you will never be done. As stated do you like them? If I read this correctly you swapped them out once already. Maybe you need to slow your choices down and work on discovering your personal likes/dislikes? I would say they don't work well with the iron. It's not the style that changed it's that they were never a great pairing.

To me, the issue is that the newel posts and wood railing/floor trim don't match the color of the floors and stick out like a sore thumb. I would work on that before anything else.

The wood on the stair does seem to relate to the wood furnishings we see in the photo. I’d leave well enough alone

Lare 70-----For clarification, the stair railing/floor trim matches the cherry color of the kitchen cabinets as shown in this picture. The lighter color LVP flooring was recently installed to contrast with the dark cabinets.. The stairway can be seen from the kitchen/dining area.
