I moseyed outside to look at mess that is my garden. it was 2 pm and im still in my

pjs. greeted by this handsome creature , which i believe is an Eastern Box Turtle. i hung around for nearly an hour and hoping it would start to move .i went in and out every of the house15 minutes snd it never moved.

But when I went in for lunch and came back in an hour it was gone! I am so disappointed. i hope to to tag along and where it was was headed. i can guess its immediate destination was away from the tall inquisitive predator hovering at it door. But covered quite a few feet in a relatively short time. i suppose i could look under every long leaved plant in garden …. think I’ll just let it be.

Just this morning i was thinking about posting because i have not seen a single hummer this season and only one monarch .
