fire place accent wall

So the painters are coming tomorrow this group has given me amazing advice! First photo is my current accent wall, I’m going with Edgecomb gray for my my whole home which is currently painted in revere pewter. The other swatch is hearth stone by BM which I am considering for an accent wall because I’m not keen on the Edgecomb gray right beside the fireplace. The second pic is running mist? I think anyway it’s a green that was suggested by Gemini. Also that is my couch and I’m doing tan accent chairs. Keep in mind I have light gray back splash grey cabinets in the laundry and bathrooms and gray flooring in the front hall. I am planning on green for accent anyway because the other wall is all windows facing outside which is full of huge trees. Please please any advise would be appreciated but I’m leaning towards a green for the accent wall!! Thank you in advance!

The BM Edgecomb Gray is a great whole room choice and will look nice and modern with your fireplace stone.

I am not understanding the need for an accent wall, especially on the already accented fireplace wall. BM Edgecomb gray next to that stone is beautiful.

It would help if you added photos of the whole room. My suggestion would be to use the SW Rushing River or BM Dry Sage on the window wall. But I;d love to see a photo of the other 3 walls. Overall, I'd stay clear of GRAY, regardless of accent vs. the overall home color.

The fireplace is beige, tan, cream, gray is too drab looking.

The laundry room is a separate room, it's fine as is.

I agree to stay far away from gray near the fireplace. The fireplace has warmish colors of cream and tan and that last sample picture of gray (or green, I can’t tell) is an obvious clash.

I understand you wanting to make this your own.

How about BM Pashmina or BM Meditation for an accent, but not on the fireplace. looks nice with BM Edgecomb Gray. I'd accent the stairwell wall. (The framed piece is a bit too high.)

centered 57-60" off the main floor looking at it.

Have you considered mounting the TV on the wall? Possibly painting the dining room with your accent color? You have a lot of natural light so you could go fairly dark with that?

A large canvas art rather than a mirror in the dining room to bring in some interesting color?

and placing a console/chest of drawers or even your existing TV cabinet to the right of the fireplace... and styling it with a large table lamp. could be a good drop zone coming into the home and up the stairs? Float the sofa in the space facing the fireplace and TV. with a slim long sofa table behind it?

    BM Pashmina

BM Meditation (if you are inclined to go green)

Such a pretty set of rooms - for me, the windows are such a nice part of the room - i’d rather see incredible window treatments than an accent wall

Those windows face out into a sunroom there are no neighbors behind they are not meant or built for window treatments

What color are your kitchen cabinets. I like them. Reduce the contrast between wall and trim. Let you brick fireplace be the accent.

Going to go with this accent wall .. also the bottom of the fireplace Edgecomb gray lightened 25 percent for the whole house.. going to take this advice and let the fireplace be the accent .. may also do a bathroom in green - Vineland BM not sure about my cabinets but getting some work done to them in the next month where I’ll find out and post .. I’m getting some of the doors replaced
