Rather than a Hutch, that really won't give you much work space, get a farm table to use as countertop work surface. The framed artwork is lovely... Center it on the doorway so when you look down the hall, you see the framed art.

You said measurements were rough, so this piece may not work. But, my idea is to use the window corner and the empty wall where the art is hanging.

Do you live in a cold climate? Would there be room in the garage for a drop zone? It doesn't look like you have much space to do a lot in the kitchen without it looking cluttered. I wonder if you wouldn't be better served using the wall where the artwork is to add a free-standing pantry cabinet for more kitchen storage. Something like this is only 16" deep and would add so much valuable storage.

I see a giant fridge taking up space , the drawing is a bit hard to get oriented with the pictures . Is this a new home to you or a rental ? I think the question of where you live is a good one and aslo if in a colder place is the garage heated ?You definately need something to help with keeping coats and shoes out of the kitchen . I lived where we had no real space for those items so everything went to bedrooms instaed .I think I see 2 doors leading into the kitchen from the garage are those a must have ? Your drawing needs to inslude where the appliances are and the cabinets and for sure to be totally to scale and draw in all the things already in the kitchen
