white exterior - soft

I would love to get help on an exterior white for my home. I am west facing and would like to have a soft, white that is not blinding in the sun but also not yellow or beige. I have looked at white dove and alabaster but am wondering if these may still be too white? Any other recommendations? Thanks!

You have to test on your house. You are looking for off-whites.

One of my neighbors had what looked like a perfect creamy off-white. When I tested it on my house it looked like highlighter yellow!

Here's an old thread from this Forum (2013) that has some pictures of Dutty's house. To my eye, it's a very pretty soft white; it's Sherman Williams Westhighland White. On the SW website it looks darker than how the pictures in the thread look. (I also love the red barn garage.)

I agree with @chispa that you'll need to test on your own house.

My house faces east but I used SW Alpaca at 75% for my trim and it reads as a true off-white, including on the west side. You might even try it at 50% to see if it works for you.

Thank you everyone. I am testing the above. I love the white but not wanting stark. A designer suggested Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore as well. Will try all and see. Thanks for the help!

BM Swiss Coffee has yellow undertones.

I would sample BM Fossil, yes, a darker white, but in the natural light will be much brighter than the chip sample.

How about a photo of your home so we can see the natural foliage, and other architectural accents that will play a role in the selection and final look.

We‘ve used BM Swiss Coffee for exterior trim. It did lighten/brighten up with exterior lighting. No yellow undertone at all but you have to test it.
