Not sure what you mean when you say you are thinking of changing the accent to the side of the bed? More pics would definitely help because perhaps some furniture re-arranging is in order. Is this a rental, or your own home? My first thought is that the walls should be painted all one color. A nice, warm silver-taupe, or musk color would look fantastic with your beautiful bedding and your silver drapes. These two are Ben Moore Silver Song and Brushed Aluminum. Or you could try the ubiquitous Revere Pewter, which is supposed to look good with any colour. Another way to stop the busy-ness and get a more calming, cohesive look is to make sure your lamps are matched, reduce clutter (especially gadgets) and centre your bed on its wall so that you can create symmetry on each side of it. If there is a lot of "stuff" laying around, you can at least corral it in trays or bins/baskets. Do you have a nice piece of art in the room - over your bed, maybe? It would balance the "techy" look of the TV. The designer Sarah Richardson once said that when she decorates a bedroom for a couple, she makes sure that for every "masculine" thing she puts into the room, she balances it with something "feminine". Sounds fair to me!
