I have a short-term project (laundry room) and a long-term project (kitchen) on deck. For the laundry room, I need a 44-46-inch base vanity and upper cabinet, and a low-profile drawer base to support a bench. For the kitchen, I will need the usual uppers and lowers. In a prior remodel 15 years ago, we used Fieldstone cabinets for a larger kitchen that served my family, and I was happy with the quality, finish and customization. My current house is more empty-nester.

I'm assuming that kitchen cabinets are like appliances--what was quality 15 years ago isn't necessarily what's quality today. What semi-custom cabinets are recommended today?
