Neighbor's house across the street was sold last year to the gas company that wants to widen its ROW of the nearby pipeline. Was recently demolished, so I undertook a guerilla operation to plant 5 Chinese and 5 Dunstan chestnuts in the now-bare grounds. Musserforest offered a good price on 2-3 yr old bareroots. 1st pic is looking NNW. 2nd pic is one of the Chinese, 3rd pic one of the Dunstans. Had to locate holes to avoid shade from the Siberian elms as much as possible.
