Note: this unit is intended for an island installation - given it's wall position, the back utensil rail was not installed (the tile thickness did not allow for it).

Pros - great lighting, baffles can go in the dishwasher, has a powerful remote blower option (this unit has the motor mounted on the roof), love the delay off function, love the look.
Cons: I believe the unit has been redesigned (this model was purchased in 2007) but cleanability is challenging because the blower sucks through the lights as well as the baffles. With a powerful blower comes noise. Have a professional calculate the requisite CFM for you to ensure you do not experience back drafting, alternatively, you can crack a nearby window to provide the required make up air each time you use it.

Thanks for the info! I would be installing it against a wall as well but only with the 600 cfm blower because it will do a 90 and go out the wall not sure I like the idea of it sucking the schmeg through the lamps... info is helpful Thank you

@vicrum, they may have redesigned te unit since mine was installed. If you can, find your local Zephyr distributor (not retailer but wholesale distributor) and talk to them about feed back they have revue iced on the model..
