My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    We actually insulated, wrapped, & sheet rocked the ceiling then added the tongue & groove board and beams. The painting was not easy but we love the final look!

    Hi I am wondering what size are the ceiling beams and what color is the stain on the floor I want to do something similar to a beach house in Montauk New York

    Hi fintanmurray1. If you go to the article and look at the comment string at the close of it, I believe the homeowner answered the beam question there. As for the floor, they are Dark Hickory from Summit Forest Products.
