My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Induction cooktop or regular electric

Help I ordered a Wolf induction cooktop and bought an inexpensive induction burner to try it out but somehow it feels strange because the burner doesn't get hot. The cooktop was really expensive and now I don't know if I will like it. Any feedback from induction cooks will help me to decide.

    That's normal. The induction range works with magnetic energy and it doesn't get hot (or as hot) as a normal electric hob or gas hob. But the pan gets hot. And it cooks beautifully. I love my induction cooktop, it is equally as responsive as gas, I can get water boiling in 90 seconds, and easy to keep clean. Did you cook anything on the burner you bought?

    You will love it. It has a bit of a learning curve, and you will need pots that are magnetic on the bottom.
