Same exact rug at a local home store was almost $1500. I kinda like 1/2 price. ;)

Yes, it is half the price however it does not come with a warranty and is possibly a returned or defective item. Also is looks as though it is not returnable or exchangeable. All items we offer come with a full 1 year manufacturers warranty. This item is a hand tufted wool rug so it contains latex glue which holds the wool pile in - if the latex glue is bad the rug will fall apart quickly. Also, if there is excessive shedding throughout the first year you wouldn't be able to get it replaced. Just something to think about - you only get what you pay for.

Yup, you better be sure when you order it... but I was SO pleased with the quality. I've had no problems - it is a nice quality hand-tufted wool rug and is very sturdy yet soft. I was willing to take a chance (because after all I'll be walking all over it anyway). When you buy on outlet sites be sure to research the manufacturer and others' reviews and you'll find what you need.
