New Front Door: Wood or Painted? White Windows: White Hardware?

Question for you designers out there...

We are replacing all of our small, transitional (1957 ranch/modern) home's windows, sliders and front door. Our interior doors and trim are all slabs painted white with oil rubbed bronze handles and fixtures . We have giant windows that have good water views, and a small, but well covered front door (no sidelights possible).

We are planning to install Marvin's Integrity pre-primed casement windows with oil rubbed bronze hardware and paint them white. Good idea? Or should we make the hardware here white too so it doesn't stand out.

We were thinking of replacing our frond door with a walnut or cherry shaker style wood door. Or should we paint it?

Thoughts?
