We have a condo in Belize, by the Caribbean Sea. The walls are primarily beige and one wall was almost a dark brown. I had it painted a bright turquoise, which I think fits the Caribbean. As soon as it was done, the two beige walls on either side of it looked so bland. So, I thought I would like to paint one adjacent wall a bright yellow, the colour of the yellow in the subject's hat in the painting I have on the wall. . However, it turns out that the painter can't get that colour here. Any other suggestions?. My sofa is a kiwi green colour. The photo makes the sofa look quite bland or even grey but it IS a kiwi colour. Could someone please give me suggestions, keeping in mind that this is the Caribbean and I think it should reflect the bright colours of the sea and the surroundings. ?.
