We have a ling narrow living / dining room, the room is 21'9" x 10'4", see attached drawing of room, 1st pic.
We use this room for dining and 2 people can watch TV comfortably, with our currernt (7'x3') leather sofa.
We want to purchase new furniture for the living part of the room. We are a family of 4, my kids are teenagers so adult size. I really want to purchase the Ikea Karlstad 2x3 with chaise, but it would take up most of the living area and I feel I would loose any airy feel to the room.
Note the black area rug will be going, so I am open to suggestions on anything.
The pic 2 with the, this will be my new curtain fabric, I am thinking of the Karlstad in the Lindo Beige. My walls are Behr Silver Drop, and I am not repainting.
I am looking for suggestions on the sofa, is my room large enough for a sectional?
