My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Painted the cabinets white the walls grey and replaced the range.

    Such a dramatic improvement...consider adding narrow shelves over the range? Or microwave coming back?

    Wanted to put a microwave above the stove but because of the style of the original range there is no cabinet above the range. I have been told that there has to be a cabinet or I have to put some type of support between the existing cabinets to install the microwave. If someone has any other way of installing the microwave, I'm listening. I do like the idea of the shelves.

    I wish they still made ranges like that! We replaced our 1978 harvest gold version of that with an early 80s almond edition we bought from craiglist. It's a great option for a smallish kitchen.
