My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Do any houzzers have actual experience with owning this table? Would love to know how it is wearing and weathering and what your likes and dislikes are about it. Upload a picture of it in use if you have it!

    here you go... a little late but maybe it can help someone in the future. i too would have liked some reviews. we love the look of our table. and the quality. as well as the flexibility of size. haven't figured out the perfect chairs yet. did sand and treat it with special oil to help water proofing. BIGGEST problem... it has deep seams and food can easily get trapped. i have two young children so it's impossible to keep the ridges free of crumbs. even without kids it seems impossible. i'm contemplating selling the table. or filling in with wood glue? but that stuff may not be good to have around food. at this point, i take my vacuum cleaner to it, and toothpicks, and flat head screw drivers to coax out the food that gets stuck. disgusting. very sad as it is otherwise perfect. but that is a BIG drawback. deal breaker in my opinion. has anyone else dealt with this?

      Come on, folks. Sale ends soon on this table and Restoration Hardware doesn't post customer reviews on their website - which I think they should. Hoping to make a decision before sale is over.

      I have not purchased it, but that was a concern as I've seen that type of comment in regard to other tables of "reclaimed" wood variety. I'm still on the lookout for my perfect table . . . .

      I was about to purchase this table, but hearing about the seams makes me pause. I have 3 young boys so would definitely have food all over. Have you figured out a solution for cleaning it?

      I purchased this table along with several side chairs (Madeleine, I believe), and promptly returned everything. They were beautiful to look at, but quality was extremely poor. I was seriously concerned that the ridiculously thin chair seats would split beneath someone of average weight. Wood was beyond merely "distressed" with splintered pieces breaking off to reveal the light colored pine beneath the very dark stain. Best word to describe these items.....cheap. Very disappointing.

      My son has this table. It is not used for eating daily and he has no children. It is beautiful if you like distressed wood. The top of the table is very bumpy though due to the texture of the wood pieces used. I like it but might not be practical for a family eating table day to day.

      You might want to buy some kind of wipe clean placemats for the table.
