Need help to transform small room in nursery

I have small bedroom that need to transform into Nursery for my future daughter. I will like crib, changing table, glider and lamp...Any ideal, help will be appreciated

Consider foregoing the change table altogether. They aren't very safe once the baby starts wiggling around and trying to roll over, which is within 6 or 7 months. In the early months,just change her in her crib, then as she gets older set up her changing station down on the floor. You will not believe how much free time this will give you as they just love to have their "naked baby time"!

Wherever you set up the crib, just place a tall open shelving unit next to it with diapers, etc. within easy reach. Once Baby moves to floor for diaper changing, just keep what you need in cloth baskets. The shelving unit then can then become her toy cupboard.

If you are willing to give up the desk and cabinets, I would start with the rocker in the corner to the left of the window, the crib being just to the left of the closet. If there is room remaining, you could put the changing table under the window. Otherwise you could put the changing table in the closet, if this is your preference then consider removing the closet doors. Consider laying out the various elements you want in the room on grid paper.

Of what i observed thru others with babies, changing table near the window seems to be the norm

We can't give up any of the desk or cabinets, we are renting :)

I agree with karenmore.....don't do a seperate changing table- just go without. If you have to have a station for first few months just place a pad on the desk top....make a station with what you have. All you need is a crib. Turn all the desk and storage into baby storage....add some cute baby pics and curtains and your done!

Actually you have a great space to use for the changing area - which is the desk itself. Where the open shelves are you can add all the necessary equipment and stuff you need (nappies, creams, pins, bibs etc) and you can probably even hang a heat lamp from it.With my little ones, I used a heat lamp so that when we changed them, they didn't feel too cold. Also kept little flannels to immediately put over the little boy so we didn't end up with arcs of pee!If you can give up the four draws to the left of the window, you can place your cot there and a table lamp above it..

If you can't remove the desk than use it for a changing table put the crib on the wall opposite the closet and use the desk drawers for clothing/diaper storage. The rocker is a bit tough, you might want to use the desk chair as your rocker or again, remove the closet doors and make a nook area with a little table, soft light (over head as there will not likely be a receptical for a lamp in the closet along with the rocker in there. Depending on your delivery (C-section, episiotomy, etc,) changing on floor may not be feasible for you.
