Thanks for the compliment. These are nine foot ceilings on the left side of the photo and 8' ceilings in the dining area on the right side of the picture.

Thank you! Can you tell me the size of the cabinets on either size of the hood? I like how they are the same size rather than having one long cabinet with a mini one on top.

Oh my I just realized as I did the math that these are actually 10' ceilings!! I'm sorry about that. The cabinets on each side of the hood are actually 30" tall cabinets stacked on top of one another.

It's hard to believe! Such a great space - it doesn't look too tall at all. I wonder if I could stack two 24" cabinets with 9 foot ceilings to get the same look. Thanks for your time. I love this kitchen!

Yes you could easily stack two 24" upper cabinets and achieve this look with a 9' ceiling. That configuration will leave you a 6" gap above the cabinets to contend with in which you could use a simple crown as we have done in this photo.
