I'm wanting to change my oak trim on baseboards, doors, door trim. I just finished painting the kitchen cabinets and they look great, but I dot know if I want everything to be white, and there are some areas where the oak stain will need to remain, like on the fireplace mantle and trim. I need ideas. And is it kosher to combine stained and painted in the same area.
