Hi, We live in a small semi in Toronto. the interiors were painted a darker beige, which made it look very small, so last year, we had the space painted white. This year, we redid our kitchen and put in white cabinets and also opened it up to the dining room. My wife now finds the space too "white" and "cold".

Any thoughts on warming it up? I am happy to do accent colours either via painting the fireplace wall or adding some pops of colour.
